Two people lay in bed, and they felt ill. All around the bed used handkerchieves were sprawled.
"What did the Doctor say?" Kathryn asked hoarsely, sniffling.
"What do you think?" Chakotay replied in an equally hoarse voice. "I've caught the Sallarian flu. Guess from where - or even better yet, from whom?"
"I ain't got a clue," she said in mock ignorance. "But I thought this disease was passed on by physical contact only."
"Doc wondered about that one too, especially because just one other crew member has got the same disease."
Kathryn simply arched her eyebrow. "And?"
"I shall tell you that he's just beaten Tom at his own game."
