Soft warm hands were caressing his back. For a moment Chakotay savoured the feeling of them before his awareness returned completely.
He leapt off his bed with a yelp, taking the sheets with him.
"What's the matter, Chakotay?" Kathryn asked in that throaty voice of hers.
"I . . . What are you doing here?"
"I'm lying in your bed . . . What does it look like?"
Chakotay figured he still had to be asleep, dreaming. It couldn't be an accident that they were having the same dialogue yet again. "It's a dream."
Just then his alarm went off . . . and Kathryn was still there.
